The service assesses the quality of a habitat and identifies the degree to which the landscape impedes or facilitates movement among suitable habitat and resource patches. It is often combined with change detection service. Expected Benefits:

Change Detection and Land Use Analysis: The service is based on very high-resolution data and aims to detect changes in predefined vulnerable areas. The service is applicable both for landscape and land border permeability mapping. The vulnerable areas are identified through intelligence and are monitored using regular satellite observation for specific period. The nature of changes that the service can detect could be defined by the client. The change detection product is composed of a base map derived from satellite orthoimages and geo-spatial information in support of emergency planning for evacuation and for intervention in critical according to client's needs. Change detection and change analysis is performed on satellite imagery acquired before, during and after the respective situation / event of interest.
